hope you have had a lovely week and if you are anything like me - feeling a lot better with the nice bright days we have been having recently and I can really see the difference as regards its lighter for a little longer in the evenings.. yeah, roll on Spring that's what I say.
...and with Spring, or more specifically, Spring flowers in mind had a delightful surprise when someone placed an on-line order with me recently. What was even nicer the lovely lady in question did not tick the box requesting no contact - so I was able to send her a little thank you card without any qualms.
and here it is... stamps from the Flowering Fields and Perfect Pairing stamp sets - just two of the delightful items you can earn for free in this year's fabulous Sale-a-Bration promotion.
That's right.! for every £45 pounds you spend you get to choose an item for free from this current Sale-a-Bration catalogue. (Although some of the items were only available for a limited time - pages 16 thru 19 of the brochure, these have since been replaced and the same criteria applies to the new items - Spend £45 and you get to choose one of them.)
See the new replacement items here... and you still have time to earn any of the free sets as Sale-a-Bration does not end until 31st March.
and my card - it came together really quickly. Just a little off cut of Shimmery White card stock. I masked off the lower third to leave room for my 'Thank you' then stamped the top section with some of the stamps from the Flowering Field set (available in either wood or clear mount), some dabbling with the my aqua painters and Stampin' write markers to add a little colour, a bit of bling and decorated corners using the Curvy Corner Trio Punch.
The sentiment is from another of the free sets you can earn - the oh so useful- 'Perfect Pairings' with a little scrap of ribbon just to ground the space between. Then to finish, the topper was matted onto a card base of Pool Party. I made a matching envelope from one of the lovely papers in the Birthday Bouquet Designer series paper pack - and all done.
Stampin' Up! Supplies Used
Or please just contact me if you have any questions or to place an order for you, if you would prefer.
Well today found me whiling away a few hours in the nicest way possible, indulging in a spot of card making with another local demonstrator. We discussed all sorts as you do, ranging from how nice to not have to worry about the housework and last but certainly not least - that Stampin' Up! really is all about inspiring, creating and sharing!
Til next time
Have a great week
