Stampin' Up! Regional training - Lucky number 5!

hi all

am writing this, my usual 'Sunday snippets'  having spent yesterday, Saturday,  up in Telford, at a Stampin' Up! Uk Regional training event - and the reference to the Lucky number? .. the number I chose when I got to registration desk -
and I really can say 'Lucky' as it won me a lovely prize in one of the famous Stampin' Up! 'Prize Patrols', then subsequently added to, with a fabulous all-delegate give-away!

'oohs' and 'ahhs' a-plenty,  as we saw the host of fabulous displays from some very talented demonstrators,  sample cards for the Ronald McDonald House and Coram charities which Stampin' Up! support,  some sneak peaks of lovely things in store for us all  when the new catalogue and this year's set of 'In-Colours', both launch. (Personally I can't wait.)

Here's just a tiny sample of the fabulous swaps boards.

In addition there were some very inspirational talks from successful demonstrators on how they run their Stampin' Up! business and what works for them, backed up by talks from Stampin' Up!'s UK and US home offices..  some great on-stage demonstrations, including one from Julie Kettlewell which we could all have a go at, as it made up the fabulous  'Make and take' for the day (along with some tryouts of a few new products as well!)  and not forgetting of course, all the fabulous swaps I got back from my lovely fellow demos, below.

For mine,
Remember this from yesterday :

well this is what they look like face up!
I opted for a background of Cherry Cobbler card stock, with an embossed topper of Whisper White,  some cutouts from scraps of similar embossed card stock, arranged in order of a rainbow, finished off with a stamped butterfly and short sentiment from Maya Angelou 'try to be a rainbow in someone's cloud' - which I generated in MDS.

(I must admit I did have help cutting out all the little coloured hexagons!!
... and I did get an absolutely stunning selection of swaps back in return - my apologies that my rubbish attempts at photography just does not do them justice at all !

but a really huge thanks everyone for swapping with me, I really do appreciate the time taken to make them all.
