well, I know I have been remiss of late and June has virtually flown past me in a whirr.. but am back today as its the 'special day' in the Stampin' Up! calendar -
yes - it's finally here, after all the sneaky peeks and the fabulous ideas all the lovely Stampin' Up! demos have been posting..!
The new annual Stampin' Up! 2014 - 2015 catalogue has launched so its already a few hours old and am so so late in posting about it..
but tada... and here it is - well, a picture of the front cover at least.
but just click here and delve into a copy of 250+ pages of inspiration, must have's, I want's and much much more!
This year they have done things a little differently in that almost every section has lots of 'for information panels' I'll call them - either showing everything you need to get started creating something beautiful with the wealth of lovely designs to copy - or for the more seasoned amongst us lots of 'You can create this' - images of all the particular supplies you need to help create that specific effect or sample item.
The very popular 'Bundle & Save' deals feature throughout the catalogue and there's all sorts of pre-packaged kits meaning you get to start crafting the minute you open your parcel!
Project ideas for every skill level for all sorts of occasions
Page 2 instantly gives you a flavour of what is to come - with the identification of 'colour-coded' sections for ideas for Gift & packaging, all manner of card giving solutions for birthdays, weddings, family and thank yous, and not forgetting those of you into scrap booking and Memory keeping - just far far too much to mention without creating a post a mile long.
...and I know its daft skipping along to the very end - but I really appreciate the way they now show the items in the index - instantly showing you what colour category they belong to - and to have a picture index of all the alphabet and greeting stamp sets gets a definite thumbs up in my book!
And of course, as with any new catalogue - we also have a new set of 'in-colours'
yes, 5 brand new, bang on-trend, colours for 2014 - 2016
but there's so much more..
lots of lovely new stamps, accessories, punches, and papers make their appearance - and a few making quite a stir are - not in any particular order : Stampin' Blendabilities markers, Project Life (R) by 'Stampin' Up!, the new Photopolymer stamp sets which make lining things up such a breeze, the decorative masks for enhancing ,creating lovely backgrounds for your cards, scrapbook pages and so much more.
...and if you are stuck for inspiration - or just need a pointer in the right direction - you really cannot go wrong with the wealth of samples, examples and real life items the oh so talented Stampin' Up! designer team have come up with - including listing all the necessary supplies so you don't have to go searching...
Brilliant!

well with all this talk of the new goodies - am off to take a proper look for myself.
til next time - have a lovely week - and will be back myself after the thrills and spills of a certain tennis tournament have concluded and fingers x'd for Mr Murray!

The new catalogue is fab isn't it Jan - and like you I love the new indexing system. It was sad to see Murray leave the tournament but my goodness what a final! Sad for Federer after such a fight but Djokavic was a worthy winner. Vicky x
