hope you had a nice weekend -
well, fresh from last week's baby shower card, and gifts, my efforts this weekend was another good luck of sorts.!
My lovely sister has just started a new job as HR manager for a local charity here - having taken a 3 year career break to help look after the grandchildren - but it's now back to full time and a 9 -5 day, so just had to mark the occasion with a card, of course!
..and with some of Stampin Up's! fabulous Designer Series Papers as a background, coupled with one very apt sentiment from the Feel Goods Stamp set - some toning candy dots and a bow..
Result - One, oh so very quick, card. - what do you think?
and inside - just the perfect saying from me, from the Bravo stamp set -
I was so pleased with it and so was she.. and having caught up with her after her first enjoyable but very frantic week - she described the experience as 'Information Overload' and the company's IT facilities as way beyond her 'luddite' capabilities - things having certainly moved on somewhat since her last foray into anything 'technic'..!
Fingers crossed for her but I know she will soon get back into the swing of things and I could not be more happier for her or more proud!

Well it was our village day this weekend and thankfully Saturday stayed fine with lots of sunshine meaning the floats did not get stuck in the mud, the stall holders had plenty of visits and everyone in the parade stayed dry.
The theme this year was 'Magic' and of course there were lots of little Harry Potters, Herminones and Ron Weasleys abroad, practicing with their wands. Thankfully we all escaped, minus any spells and incantations being cast our way and a good time was had by all!
and must just say well done and thank you to Harriet who drew the winning poster advertising the day! to give you an idea... Didn't she do well!
til next time - have a lovely week
