2016 - and a Happy New Year all!

hello everyone..

Hope you all had a truly magical Christmas - And Santa was busy filling everyone's stockings with things on the wish list..   We had a lovely time and with a long break from work - I finished on the 21st December and not back til the 4th - so yes, am sure its the same for  lots of you - Monday its looming large.. to say am not looking forward to it is probably an understatement.. he hee..!

and having had quite a longish break from inking and Stamping up!  as well - have  finally got round to starting my Thank you cards.  All are a variation on a theme of Rose Red and Whisper White, mainly  inspired by the lovely colour combination of the Love Blossoms Designer series Paper stack - just one of the many fabulous items available in the new Spring/summer 2016 catalogue ready to launch on the 5th January and you get to see a sneaky peak of just one of the designs here. Some stamping, some punching, some die-cuts, but all easy and kept me out of  mischief for an hour or so..

Hum.. if there is a card challenge to enter to do with 3's - well am there ..  totally unintentional but it just sort of happened that way.

With  Valentine's Day fast approaching there's a range of stamps, dies, papers, toning cardstock, glimmer papers, and embellishments in the Love Blossoms suite.

As everything co-ordinates this means you spend less time  deciding what goes with what,  leaving more time for crafting - a definite plus in my book!

Just love the way Santa is standing guard.!  What is more surprising though, is that he is still in one piece.. Chocolate does not not tend to last very long in our house I have to say..

Seriously though,  the papers in the pack are lovely -  hearts, flowers, reds and pinks abound..along with toning scattering of Crumb Cake and Garden Green - but essentially yes,  it just has to be Pink in my eyes!!!

Well will stop here as sadly am thinking of having to take down my tree, lights and decorations to put them all away til next year - but it has been a nice long break.. and Santa is calling me...
