Flowering Fields - Adult coloring in, anybody?

Hello all

well today's card was so simply put together. I used one of the delightful stamp sets you can earn for free as part of this year's Stampin' Up! Sale-a-Bration  special offers.
All you need is a qualifying spend of £45 from either of the current catalogues and you can earn some great free product items .

It is a delightful set of 7 stamps called Flowering Fields, and I just used 3 repeats of one of the stamps in the set  to make my card for a works colleague who has just left to take up a new post. And with such a simple concept in my mind decided to link it up with the current CASology Challenge #179 where they want us to create 'Simple'!

On a matted layer of Whisper white cardstock with some fancy punching to decorate a couple of the corners... I stamped the image in Basic Grey Archival Ink then set to with a bit of 'colouring in' so popular at the moment!  using my Stampin' Up!'s fabulous Write Markers.

I finished with a sentiment from the new Greatest Greetings set to complement the card's overall good luck theme, and its banner is courtesy of the fabulous new Number of years set.   and in a few minutes I had a lovely card.

and inside - one of my 'go to' motivational stamps which often warrants  an outing here at Codicote crafting corner!

my colleague? , yes, she loved it for its simplicity and I loved it as it came together so quickly!

What do you think?

til next time
happy stampin'  and here's to staying dry - am sure if this rain continues I shall be growing webbed feet!

  3. Very pretty design. Tracey's Choice: I love Anna's tall, clean and crisp design and how the lovely die hangs over the edges.
