sale-bration-thank yous

hello all

well the lovely Kylie Bertucci - find out all abour her here! is hosting an International Blog Highlight on Friday 11th March and is calling for entrants (and voters!)  to play along.

The theme is 'thank you' to be interpreted as you wish and Kylie is giving us a chance  to enter and in doing so get to know other stampers around the world - a truly international event - How amazing is that and certainly something to think about in terms of Stampin' Up!'s own motto of Inspire, Create, Share...

My 'thank you' card is  a request from my Mum as she wanted to say 'Thank you' to a bunch of peole who looked after her when she recently had to undergo a spell in hospital - yes, she spent Christmas and New year there, and finally underwent a quite lengthy procedure the first week in January and at aged 82 not without some risks!

but fast forward to this week - she is back at home, able to drive again, and relishing having her independance back and well on her way to a full recovery - Yeah!

and this is what I came up with for her - small but sweet!

and with Sale-a-bration in full swing - I turned to my 'go to' set of the moment - Flowering Fields and the matching Wildflower Fields Designer Series Paper - Neither are available to buy but are just two of the lovely items you can earn for free - one each,  for every £45 spend from either of the current Stampin' Up! catgalogues.

and if you are anything like me and into a spot of 'Adult colouring in' which is all the rage at the moment - stamp the outline image and then just play away to your heart's content with the blender pens, Stampin' Write Markers and a strip of the toning paper. Finally finishing  with a bit of sponging and a decorative punched edge and you have one really easy card.

and inside - she chose one of the sentiments from another of the Sale-a-bration stamp sets - Botannicals for you'  - just perfect for what she wanted to say!

...and the combined purchase of the supplies I used easily qualify  for one of the Sale-a-bration items.. why not use the links on the side bar to see what else you can choose.

Or please just contact me if you have any questions or to place an order for you, if you would prefer.

and  now she is well and truly back with us we are all looking forward to the first week in April when we are taking her away for a short break just to make up for a little of the lost time!

til next time - happy stampin' all - and don't forget to check out all the lovely posts on Kylie's blog and cast your vote.
